- A support person and/or counselor can help you and take you to Family and Community Wellness Centre or nurses station.
- You can go to the NCN Nurses Station and not have to make a police report.
- Evidence can be collected up to 5 days after the incident and can be held up to 6 months whether or not you decide to make a report to the police.
- Testing for date rape drugs can be done from 24 hours up to 72 hours.
- Medications to prevent pregnancy can be started within 72 hours.
- Medications to prevent Sexually Transmitted Infections are also available.
